Abstract:

This research was done with the aim of determining the conditions of use of the smart plate established in schools by teachers of science under the FATİH Project. In the study, a visual scan model was used. The study conducted in the 2016-2017 educational and teaching year was attended by teachers conducting 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th classes of science courses in the state secondary schools in Tokat province. From the date of the study, the views of 146 scientists who have been identified that 113 schools have a smart board and returned to the survey forms developed by the researcher have formed the data of the study. The data obtained from the survey form was analyzed using visual analysis methods (percentage/frequency). The study found that about half of teachers use the internet connection to process their lessons. Scientific teachers have determined that they use the smart table most of the biology-containing subjects in teaching, and at least physics-containing subjects in teaching. The research has come to the conclusion that the teachers of sciences who participated in the study were able to make the smart table the most evaluated and concrete the lesson with images and animations; at least they used it in reading and listening activities.
