Abstract:

In this study, meteorological data tracking, solar and wind energy potential determination with real data, air or alternative energy systems forecast algorithms for the purpose of collecting meteorological data for the purpose of the Kocaeli University Longjiftlik Noah Cement Career High School roof established air station was addressed. With the established air station, the global lighting, wind speed, wind direction, temperature and moisture data of the area have been recorded in the SD memory module by gathering with the 32-bit Arduino Due microcontroller. Additionally, the data is transferred to the cloud environment ThingSpeak through the ESP8266 WiFi module and the system is converted to an object’s Internet application. In addition to the study, the data obtained from the system in the period of August 2018 and December 2018 were presented with the help of graphs of total radiation per square meter per day, daily average, maximum, minimum temperature and moisture, daily average and maximum wind speed data.
