Abstract:

Travel to benefit from health services also reveals the concept of health tourism. In health tourism, mental health is as important as body health. So mental health and comfort are the key issues of today. The aim of this study is also to try to define the concept of mental health tourism, because research in our country, especially in the field of mental health, is still limited, and to reveal the potential of mental health tourism that our country possesses through SWOT (GZFT: Strong Guidelines / Weak Guidelines / Opportunities / Threats) analysis. However, the TOWS (TFZG: Threats / Opportunities / Weaknesses / Strongnesses) matrix has been developed and new strategies have been introduced. As a result of the study, the importance of mental health tourism in terms of diversification of tourism, four seasons can be made and economic profits are achieved, the number of healthy living centers, spa-wellness facilities and yoga hotels has been increased, and various recommendations have been presented, such as the support of new investments with state incentives.
