Otel İşletmelerinde Çalışanların Kendilerine Uygulanan Ücret Yönetimi Hakkındaki Görüşleri: Çanakkale, Antalya ve Ordu Örneği

Çalışanlara ödenecek ücret, hem çalışanlar açısından insan kaynakları yönetiminde, hem de üretim faktörü girdisi olarak bir maliyet unsuru olması açısından üretim yönetiminde önem taşımaktadır. İşletmede üretimi ve üretimin verimliliğini arttıran önemli bir araç olarak değerlendirilebilecek ücret, işgöreni işletmeye bağlayan etkili bir ekonomik özendirme aracıdır. Araştırmanın amacı, otel işletmelerinde uygulanan ücret yönetimine ilişkin çalışanların bakış açılarının, bazı demografik özelliklerine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğini ortaya koymaktır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda, çalışanların ücret yönetimi bakış açılarında çalışma süresi, çalışılan il, eğitim durumu ve çalışılan departman değişkenlerine göre; çalışanların ücret yönetimi kapsamında istihdama yönelik bakış açılarında eğitim durumu değişkenine göre; çalışanların ücret yönetimi kapsamında motivasyona yönelik bakış açılarında çalışılan departman değişkenine göre; çalışanların ücret yönetimi kapsamında ücret politikasına yönelik bakış açılarında eğitim durumu, çalışılan departman değişkenine göre; çalışanların ücret yönetimi kapsamında ücret sistemine yönelik bakış açılarında yaş, çalışılan il ve çalışılan departman değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract:

The wage to be paid to employees is of importance in both the management of human resources in terms of employees and in terms of being a cost element as the input of the production factor. The wage, which can be considered as an important tool to increase production and productivity in the business, is an effective economic stimulation tool that connects the employer to the business. The purpose of the study is to find out whether employees’ views on the pay management applied in hotel enterprises differ according to some demographic characteristics. According to the results of the analysis, the work time of employees in terms of salary management, according to the work time, the employee’s state of education and the employment department variables; according to the employee’s state of education in terms of employment; according to the employee’s department variables in terms of motivation in terms of employment; according to the employee’s department variables in terms of employment policy; according to the employee’s department variables; according to the employee’s department variables in terms of employment; according to the employee’s department variables in terms of employment; according to the employee’s department variables in terms of employment.

Employees’ wages are important not only for human resources management in terms of employees but also for production management in terms of a cost element as an input of productive factors. Wage, which can be regarded as an important means of increasing productivity, is also an effective means of economic incentive that ensures employees’ commitment to the business. The aim of this study is to determine whether hotel employees’ perceptions of wage management implemented by hotels differ by some demographic characteristics. As a result of the analysis, according to in wage management perspective of employees in terms of working time, working provinces, education status and working department variables; in the employment outlook of the employees within the scope of wage management in terms of education status variable; in the perspective of motivation of employees within the scope of wage management in terms of working department variable; in view of wage policy of employees within the scope of wage management in terms of education status and working department variables; in view of salary system of employees within the scope of wage management in terms of age, working provinces and working department variables, significant differences were found.
