Abstract:

Aim: The purpose of this research is to examine the multifaceted leadership orientations and organizational resilience capacities of amateur sports club presidents at the individual level. Methods: 172 managers who are presidents of sports clubs affiliated to Kütahya Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate participated in the study. The Multifaceted Leadership Orientations Scale developed by Dursun et al., (2019) and the Individual-Level Relational and Operational Resilience Capacity Scale developed by Gerçek and Börekçi (2017) were used in the research. According to the skewness and kurtosis values, it was understood that the data showed a normal distribution. Accordingly, the test methods used are independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and pearson correlation analysis. Results: While statistically significant differences were detected according to education level, profession and coaching certificate (p<0.05); No statistically significant difference was found according to the variables of age, years of management, and licensed sports activities (p>0.05). Conclusion: As a result, it was determined that there is a significant relationship between multifaceted leadership orientation and organizational resilience capacity at the individual level.
