Toplumların yarınını oluşturan bugünün çocuklarının her açıdan sağlıklı yetişmeleri, varlıklarının her türlü suistimal ve istismardan korunması noktasında toplumun her kesimi gibi medyaya da önemli görevler düşmektedir. Çocukların hak ihlallerinin önüne geçilmesi, seslerinin duyurulması, haber dilinde temsillerinin sorunsuz yansıtılması gibi pek çok noktada medya, çocukların temsilinde çocuk odaklı habercilik anlayışı çerçevesinde bir anlayışı sürdürmelidir. Çocuk bireylerin haberlerde yer almasına yönelik her ne kadar haber dilinin sorunlarına farklı çalışmalarla değinilmiş olsa da, bu noktada problemli kullanımın zaman zaman devam ettiği görülmektedir. Yeni medyanın habercilik anlamında sağladığı kolaylıklar yanında bir takım sorunları da içerisinde barındırdığı ortadadır. Bu sorunlar hem habercilik anlamında hem de toplumun haberlere erişiminde karşılaştığı etik sorunlar olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Çocuklara yönelik uygulanan taciz, tecavüz, şiddet, cinayet haberlerinin yansıtılmasında, bireylerin konu ile ilgili bilgilendirilmesi ve çocukların güvenli yaşamı açısından konuya yönelik farkındalık oluşturmak adına bu yönde yapılan haberler de oldukça önemlidir. Ancak bu haberlerde kullanılan haber dili toplumun farkındalığını artırmaya yönelik olmalı reyting kaygıları üzerine kurulmamalıdır. Bu makalede, çocukların haberlerde yer alış şekillerinde yaşanan problemli haber dili nitel araştırma yönteminden içerik analizi yöntemiyle eleştirel bakış açısı çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Bu amaçla; Leyla Aldemir olayını haberleştirmelerinde kullandıkları haber dili; yayınladıkları haberler ve görseller üzerinden Habertürk, Hürriyet, Sözcü ve Yeniçağ gazetelerinin internet haber sitelerinde 16 Haziran 2018- 10 Şubat 2021 tarihleri arasında yayınlanan toplam 206 haberle incelenmiştir. Yapılan değerlendirme ile yeni medyada çocuklara yönelik şiddet, taciz, tecavüz, cinayet haberlerinde etik ihlallerin devam ettiği gözlemlenmiştir. Çalışmanın elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda daha sonra ki çalışmalar için kaynaklık edebileceği düşünülmektedir.
Today’s children, who make up the future of societies, have a healthy growth in all respects, their assets are protected from all kinds of abuse and abuse, and the media, like every part of society, has an important role. In many aspects, such as the prevention of rights violations of children, the announcement of their voices, the problemless reflection of their representations in the language of the news, the media, in the representation of children, must maintain a understanding in the framework of the child-focused understanding of communication. Although the problems of the language of the news are referred to by different studies on the way children are involved in the news, it appears that the problematic use at this point continues from time to time. In addition to the facilities provided by the new media in terms of communication, it is clear that a number of problems are also hosted in it. These problems come to us both in the sense of news and the ethical problems that society faces in access to news. In reflecting the news of torture, rape, violence, murder against children, the news made in this direction is also very important in order to inform individuals about the subject and to raise awareness of the subject in terms of the safe life of children. But the news language used in these news should be aimed at raising the awareness of the community and should not be based on rating concerns. In this article, the problematic news language experience in the forms of placing in the news has been evaluated in the framework of a critical perspective by the method of content analysis from the quality research method. For this purpose; the news language they use in communicating the incident of Leyla Aldemir; the news and images they publish in the internet news sites of the Habertürk, Hürriyet, Sözcü and Yeniçağ newspapers were studied with a total of 206 news published between 16 June 2018 and 10 February 2021. The assessment has been made and the new media has observed the continuation of ethical violations in the news of violence against children, harassment, rape, murder. It is believed that according to the data obtained, the study could be source for later studies.
The media, like all segments of society, has an important role to play in ensuring that today's children, who make up the future of societies, grow up healthy in all respects and protect their assets from all kinds of abuse and abuse. The media should maintain an understanding within the framework of child-oriented journalism in the representation of children at many points such as preventing violations of children's rights, making their voices heard, and reflecting their representation in the language of the news without any problems. Although the problems of news language regarding the inclusion of children in the news have been addressed in different studies, it is seen that problematic use continues from time to time. It is obvious that the new media includes some problems in addition to the convenience it provides in terms of reporting. These problems appear both in terms of journalism and as ethical problems faced by the society in accessing news. In reflecting the news of harassment, rape, violence and murder against children, the news made in this direction is also very important in order to inform the individuals about the issue and to raise awareness about the safe life of children. However, the language used in these news should be aimed at raising the awareness of the society and not based on commercial concerns. In this article, the problematic news language experienced in the way children take part in the news is evaluated within the framework of a critical point of view through content analysis method from qualitative research method. For this purpose; The language of news they used in their news coverage of the Leyla Aldemir incident; The news and images they published were examined with a total of 206 news published on the internet news sites of Habertürk, Hürriyet, Sözcü and Yeniçağ newspapers between June 16, 2018 - February 10, 2021. With the evaluation made, it was observed that ethical violations continued in the news of violence, harassment, rape and murder against children in the new media. It is thought that the study can be a source for future studies in line with the data obtained.
