Abstract:

The concepts of happiness and happiness are often used in the same sense. The concept of happiness has been addressed in different ways over the years, from the individual’s subjective pleasure to the satisfaction of his place in society or the satisfaction of the way he lives. Today, when happiness is addressed, more attention is given to whether or not the person feels happy as an expression of the individual’s own appreciation of himself. In this study, the 2016 - 2018 Life Satisfaction Research (YMA) data published by TÜIK, the data mining techniques were studied with "collective rule analysis" and tried to find rules related to the levels of happiness. In the two stages of the study, first the questions that can be used in the study from the YMA survey questions were identified, then the subjectivity reduction study was carried out to determine the questions with the highest level of "happiness" from the 75 question identified. The results of the study identified 30 questions that best explained the variable "happiness". Analysis of the rule of association with the specified questions is made separately for the "happy", "medially happy" and "unhappy" individuals, the rules for these three cases are determined. Specifically the rules found for the state of being "happy" are at a very high level of reliability. In the study, the official statistics data can be achieved with the study of data mining, the official statistics have been shown by the study of the coalition rule analysis that has been performed by a small number so far. As well as the found rules of happiness can lead to many social scientists, politicians are also guiding in the stage of policy development focused on citizen happiness.
