Abstract:

by M. Turkish, with a rooted history of up to 4000 years, is among the seven most spoken languages in the world. Nowadays, with the spread of computer-supported language teaching models, foreigners are experiencing rapid developments in the field of Turkish teaching. This study aims to assess how sufficient websites designed for teaching Turkish as a foreign language are in terms of their own (autonomic) language learning approaches. I want to learn Turkish through the Google search engine, Learn Turkish, Apprendre le turc and Foreigners Turkish teaching sites are the result of scans through different keywords prepared for this purpose by compilating 14 interactive Turkish teaching sites created the whole of the research. These sites have been evaluated according to the basic language skills aimed at teaching, priority linguistic objectives, the types of documents they offer, the varieties of exercises, the tools to help individual learning, the varieties of conversion, the interaction and the designers under 8 different titles of language teaching/learning approaches. The assessment results in the fact that the sites offer users limited opportunities in terms of basic language skills, linguistic purposes, the types of documents they contain and autonomous language learning approaches, the possibilities of Internet technologies are not fully exploited. On the other hand, it can be said that because the vast majority of the sites are designed by foreigners, they do not fully reflect the Turkish structure and Turkish culture. The official institutions in Turkey, especially the Turkish departments of the universities, do not see any initiative in this regard. According to these findings, the results and recommendations of the study have been presented in a variety of opinions and recommendations for possible language teaching sites that will be designed for foreigners in the future for Turkish teaching.
