Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Yabancı Dil Öğrenme Zorluklarını Yaşama Düzeyleri

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, yabancı dil örenen üniversite dil hazırlık sınıfı öğrencilerinin yaşamış oldukları öğrenimsel zorlukları belirlemektedir. Araştırma, tarama modelinde yürütülen betimsel ve nicel bir çalışma özelliği taşıımaktadır. Kırgız-Türk Manas Üniversitesi yabancı dil hazırlık sınıflarında dil eğitimi alan 495 öğrenci araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri, “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Yabancı Dil Öğrenme Zorlukları Ölçeği (YDÖZÖ)” ile toplanmıştır. YDÖZÖ, 5 faktör altında toplanmış 29 maddelik beşli likert tipi bir ölçektir. Ölçeğin KMO değeri 0,937 Bartlett Testi değerlerinin x2=5707,914 sd=406 p<0,001 Cronbach alpha güvenirlik katsayısı ise 0,923’tür. Veriler üzerinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, t testi, Anova, Tukey ve korelasyon testi analizleri yapılmıştır. Fark ve ilişki testlerinin yorumlanmasında p<,05 düzeyi anlamlılık için yeterli kabul edilmiştir. Araştırma sonunda öğrencilerin en fazla farklılıklara uyum sağlama faktöründeki zorlukları yaşadıkları cinsiyet, anadil, bilinen dil sayısı, ülkelerinde konuşulan dil sayısı, ailenin Kırgızistan’da yaşıyor olma durumu ve örenim görülecek bölümün niteliği değişkenlerine göre bazı faktörlerdeki zorlukların yaşanma düzeylerinin anlamlı düzeyde farklılaştığı belirleniştir.

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to determine the learning challenges students of the university language preparation class who have learned a foreign language have experienced. The research carries an imaginary and quantitative work feature carried out in the scan model. Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University has formed a study group of 495 students who study language in foreign language preparation classes. The data of the study was collected with the "Personal Information Form" and "The Scale of Foreign Language Learning Difficulty" (CAD). It is a scale of a liquid type of 29 ingredients, collected under 5 factors. On the data, arithmetic average, standard deviation, t test, Anova, Tukey and correlation test analyses were made. In the interpretation of differences and relationship tests, the level p<,05 was considered sufficient for meaning. The study ended with the fact that students were experiencing difficulties in adapting to differences; gender, native, number of known languages, number of languages spoken in their countries, the state of the family living in Kyrgyzstan and the nature of the part to be seen by the variables that the levels of difficulties in some factors varied significantly.
