Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the impact of the STEM (STEM PTÖ) approach on the relationship between high school students with the fields of intelligence that are prominent in their STEM concepts and visualizations. In this context, the correlation between this effect and the outstanding fields of intelligence, which has been identified as an impact on the academic achievements of students with the STEM PTÖ approach, has been revealed.  The research is designed according to the opening design, which is one of the karma models. In the quantitative size of the study, the first test last test control group half-experimental pattern, and in the qualitative size, the case study pattern was carried out. 58 students participated in the study. The application 5. The class was held in the science class for 12 weeks. The test group consisted of 30 and the control group consisted of 28 people. At the end of the study, it was found that the STEM PTÖ approach has an effect on the high-level final test benefit in student academic achievements. And this success has revealed the correlation between the fields of students’ intelligence. After the application, in conversations with the students of the experiment group, the students tried to describe STEM with drawings that they focused on engineering and design, science, entertainment/game, mathematics, technological tools and feelings. The relationship between these subjects and the advanced fields of intelligence has also been revealed.
