Abstract:

Modernization has been possible from the Ottoman to the present day with the outsourcing of the tradition in many areas. The political power, which governs the process of modernization, therefore decides which part of the tradition to be autonomous, has developed various state policies for the adoption of new ways of life. In this process, the cultural element that makes the new style of life possible and will allow the tradition to change and transform with many elements has been chosen as "home, housing". This process, starting with Tanzimat, appears to have left its place within three rooms in a salon myth and recently residence houses. Although the traditional structures have been isolated with all the traditional elements they call on, the influence of cultural tourism seems to be kept back to production today. Traditional places buried under the ground by modernism can be predicted to be resurrected by postmodernism. Mada Beypazari will showcase the postmodern process of the houses with examples of how they are re-produced as a place in the context of cultural tourism. The study is a field research in which examples of the field will be presented. The data obtained from this field research was processed by Jean Baudrillard's simulation and simulation, Irvin Cemil Schick's process of becoming the place and the theory of re-production.
