Üstün yetenek konunun uzmanlarının görüşlerine göre belirlenen bir süreç olup akranlarına göre gelişim alanında ileri olan bireyi ifade eden bir kavramdır. Üstün yetenekli çocukların seçim kriteri aşamasını geçenler Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlı Bilim ve Sanat Merkezlerinde (BİLSEM) eğitim görmektedir. BİLSEM olarak adlandırılan bu kurumlar ek uygulama okulu özelliği taşıyıp proje temelli eğitimin verildiği yerlerdir. Üstün yetenekli çocuklar yenilikler, farklı ve sıra dışı gelişmelere karşı ilgi duyan ve merak duyguları üst düzeyde olan bireylerdir. Bu noktada günümüzün alışkanlıkları göz önünde bulundurulduğunda üstün yetenekliler eğitiminde teknoloji kullanımı günümüzün bir gerçeği haline gelmiştir. Teknolojide meydana gelen değişimler eğitim ortamlarının da gelişmesinde etkili olmaktadır. Eğitim ortamları ile bütünleştirilen teknolojilerden biri de dijital gerçeklik teknolojileridir. Bu araştırma 2010 yılından sonra popülerleşmeye başlayan Dijital gerçeklik teknolojileri olan artırılmış gerçeklik, Sanal gerçeklik ve Karma gerçeklik kavramının Bilim Sanat Merkezlerinde kullanımına yönelik öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amacını gütmektedir. Bilim sanat merkezlerinde üstün yetenekli öğrencilere eğitim veren öğretmenlerin teknolojiye olan yatkınlıkları ve öğretim ortamlarında kullandıkları yenilikçi teknolojilerin belirlenmesi açısından önem taşımaktadır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden görüngübilim yöntemi temel alınarak tasarlanan araştırmada öğretmenlerin Dijital gerçeklik kavramlarına yönelik algıları belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma verileri yapılandırılmış görüşmelerle toplanmıştır. Yapılan görüşmelerin içerik analizleri yapılarak araştırma bulguları elde edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar da öğretmenlerin Artırılmış Gerçeklik Teknolojisi ve Sanal Gerçeklik teknolojisi hakkında bilgi sahibi olduğu fakat büyük bir kısmının Karma Gerçeklik teknolojisi konusunda bilgi sahibi olmadığı, artırılmış gerçeklik ve sanal gerçeklik uygulamalarının Bilim Sanat Merkezlerinde uygulanmasının olumlu yönde etki yaratacağı düşünülmesine karşın; sanal gerçekliğin artırılmış gerçeklik ile aynı derecede etkiye sahip olamayacağı konusunda görüş bildirmektedir. Araştırmaya yönelik detaylı bulgular makalenin sonuçları kısmında yer almaktadır.
Excellence is a process determined according to the opinions of the specialists of the subject and is a concept that expresses the individual that is advanced in the field of development according to his colleagues. Those who pass the criterion stage of choice of highly skilled children are educated at the Science and Arts Centers (BILSEM) associated with the Ministry of National Education. These institutions, called BILSEM, are places where additional application school features and project-based education is provided. High-talent children are individuals who are interested in innovation, different and unusual developments and with a high level of curiosity. At this point, taking into account today’s habits, the use of technology in the education of superior skills has become a reality of today. Changes in technology also influence the development of educational environments. One of the technologies integrated with the educational environments is digital reality technologies. This research aims to identify teachers’ opinions on the use of the augmented reality, virtual reality and karma reality concepts, which are the digital reality technologies that began to become popular after 2010. Scientific art centers are of great importance for teachers who educate superior-talent students in terms of the technology tendencies and the innovative technologies they use in teaching environments. The research, which is designed on the basis of the visual science method from the quality research methods, has been attempted to determine the perceptions of teachers towards the concepts of digital reality. The research data is collected through structured interviews. Analysis of the results of the interviews has been made. The findings from the study also indicate that teachers are aware of enhanced reality technology and virtual reality technology, but the majority of them are not aware of mixed reality technology, and the application of enhanced reality and virtual reality applications in the Scientific Arts Centers is considered to have a positive effect, although the opinion is that virtual reality cannot have the same effect as enhanced reality. Detailed findings for the research are included in the article's results section.
