Abstract:

The aim of this study is to show the reflections obtained from the teachers candidates who use laboratory tools/tools in the fourth class of Science courses by following the 5E learning model of the structuring learning theory. This occasion will also illuminate the applicability of the 5E learning model in the Science and Technology Laboratory Applications-I course in the classroom teaching program. The work is structured as a karma pattern due to the combination of quality and quantitative data with an integrated approach. The examples of the study were conducted with 98 teachers candidates who studied in the 2nd grade of the Van Hundred Year University, Faculty of Education Class Teaching Program. As a data collection tool in this study; Science Information Laboratory Attitude Scale, Teacher Candidate Assessment Rubric, a semi-configured interview form has been used. In the study, the data analysis of the Science Knowledge Laboratory's T-Test depending on the attitude scale, the fourth categorization for the Teacher's Candidate Assessment Rubric and the semi-configured interview form were used by themes and codes. As a result, this activity-based practice has attracted the interests of the teacher candidates towards the laboratory and a positive change in their attitudes has occurred.
