Abstract:

The developed and developing countries are in a variety of efforts to change their distant and scary approach to science and technology that is widespread throughout society, their negative attitudes and opinions. One of these initiatives, especially in the second half of the twentieth century, was the establishment of scientific centers and the dissemination throughout the country. The 21st century, where science is increasingly influenced in all areas of our life, requires the classical schools to be educational centers enriched with practical activities and laboratories, which use multimedia more effectively through their transformation. Therefore, it is very important to train and equip teachers who can adapt to this time of development and practice in enriched educational environments with different skills. The main purpose of this research is to reveal the perceptions of class teaching teachers candidates about the scientific centers and their views on how the scientific centers can adapt during the course as a learning environment. The research was carried out with 30 teachers candidates continuing to the classroom teaching program of a foundation university during the 2019-2020 educational-learning year. Teacher candidates are asked to fill a semi-configured interview form prepared by the researcher in order to reveal all their views on the scientific centers. The data obtained within the framework of the "Science Center Opinion Form" consisting of 10 open-end questions have been solved using the visual analysis method. It appears that most of the teaching candidates who frequently first go to the Science Center are most influenced by astronomical studies and soon capture the integrity of the concepts in different concepts. Teacher candidates are looking to go back to the science center because they experience the opportunity to learn by applying, they are looking to better evaluate the opportunities that their curiosity increases and out-of-school learning environments can create.
