Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the level of conceptual awareness of the University students in Industry 4.0. The study is designed according to the quantum research pattern. The universe of research consists of students studying at the Faculty of Engineering and Economic-Administrative Sciences of four universities located in four different geographical regions in Turkey. The research sample contains 472 students identified by the method of the universe sample. The data was collected with the Industry 4.0 Conceptual Awareness Scale (E4.0-KFÖ). The data was analyzed through the SPSS 24 package program. The findings have shown that students within the research scope have the Industrial 4.0 Conceptual Awareness levels at the middle six levels. According to the research results, the level of conceptual awareness is manidarly higher than the level of female students in male students, and the level of students in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences is manidarly higher than the level of students in the Faculty of Engineering. The conceptual level of awareness shows that there are significant differences between the universities, departments and general ratings, while the class level and the source of high school graduation do not make significant differences according to the variables Research results have been discussed on the basis of the relevant literature and some suggestions based on findings have also been developed.
