Kur’ân, nâzil olduğundan günümüze gelinceye kadar onu anlama ve yorumlama çabaları devamlılık arzetmektedir. Doğru anlama ve yorumlamanın gerçekleşmesinde birçok farklı yöntem ve yönelişlerin varlığı da bilinmektedir. Doğru anlamayı gerçekleştirebilmek için erken dönemlerden itibaren yöntemler oluşturulmuş ve sonraki süreçlerde bu usûller gittikçe geliştirilmiştir. Bu usûllerin başında, Kur'ân’ın nüzûl ortamının temel ögelerinden biri olan esbâb-ı nüzûl bilgisi gelmektedir. Makalede ilk önce, bir metnin nesnel, doğru ve gerçek anlamı belirlenmiş, temel ilkelere temas edilmiş ve ardından A’raf Sûresinin 31. âyeti değerlendirilmiştir. Daha sonra mezkûr âyetin inzâl ediliş sebebi ve âyetin nasıl anlaşılması gerektiği ortaya konulmuştur. Bu çerçevede herhangi bir hâdise veya sual üzerine nâzil olan âyet-i kerimelerin anlaşılmasında lafızların umûm manalarının mı yoksa sebeb-i nüzûlün mü belirleyici olduğu konusuna cevap aranmış, âlimler tarafından bu durum tartışılmış, usûlcülerin ve tefsircilerin kâhir ekseriyeti âyetlerin anlamlarını tespit ederken lafızların umûm manasına itibar etmişler; bazı âlimler ise âyete verilecek anlamları sebeb-i nüzûl rivâyetleri çerçevesinde sınırlamışlardır.
The efforts of understanding and interpreting the Quran until it reaches the present day are continuing. It is also known that there are many different methods and orientations in the realization of correct understanding and interpretation. In order to realize the correct understanding, methods have been developed from early ages and these procedures have been gradually developed in the subsequent processes. At the beginning of these procedures, knowledge of the Esbâb-i Nuzul, which is one of the basic elements of the environment of the Quran, comes first. In the article, firstly, the objective, correct and true meaning of a text has been determined, the basic principles have been touched, and then the 31st verse of Surah A'raf is evaluated. Then the reason for the revision of the verse was emphasized and how it should be understood. In this context, an answer was sought in the understanding of the meaning of the words or the reason or reason for determining any verse or verse on the subject. Accordingly, this situation was discussed by scholars. While the majority of the operators and commentators determined the meaning of the verses, they respected the meaning of the words; some scholars limit the meanings to be given to the verse within the framework of the reasons for revelation.
