Çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de Sosyal Bilgiler öğretiminde yaşanan sorunlara yönelik yapılan tezlerin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırma dokuman analizi modelinin kullanıldığı nitel bir araştırmadır. Yapılan araştırmada 2003-2021 yılları arasında Türkiye’de Sosyal Bilgiler öğretiminde karşılaşılan sorunlara yönelik tezler ele alınmıştır. Bu kapsamda 51 adet lisansüstü tez incelenmiştir. Bu tezlerin kapsamını 47 yüksek lisans ve 4 doktora tezi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada incelenen tezlere internet üzerinden erişim sağlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi ve Google Akademik üzerinden “Sosyal Bilgiler” ve “Sosyal Bilgilerde Karşılaşılan Sorunlar” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak tarama yapılmıştır. Sosyal Bilgiler ve Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimi alanında yapılan tezler dokuman analizi yoluyla yıl, araştırma türü, araştırma yöntemi, konu alanları, seçilen örneklem, örneklem büyüklüğü, veri toplama araçları, üniversitelere göre dağılımları, veri analiz yöntemleri ve bu sorunlara getirilebilecek çözüm önerileri açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular grafik ve tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. İncelenen lisansüstü tezlerde en çok nicel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca en fazla ele alınan sorun ve çözüm önerisinin ise sosyal bilgiler öğretim programına yönelik olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The purpose of the study is to study the theses addressed to the problems of social information teaching in Turkey. This research is a qualitative research in which the document analysis model is used. The study discussed the issues faced in the teaching of social information in Turkey between 2003 and 2021. There are 51 examples of this study. The scope of these theses consists of 47 master’s and 4 doctoral theses. The study was conducted via the Internet. In this context, the YÖK National Thesis Center and Google Academic have been scanned using the keywords "Social Information" and "Social Information Problems". Theses in the field of Social Information and Social Information Education have been evaluated through the analysis of the document in terms of year, type of research, research method, subjects, selected sample, sample size, data collection tools, distribution according to universities, data analysis methods and solutions suggestions that can be brought to these problems. The results obtained in the study are presented in graphics and tables. The study found that the study method was the most used in the study. In addition, the most discussed problem and solution proposals have been found to be social information curriculum.
