Lozan Antlaşması, Birinci Dünya Savaşı’ndan mağlûp çıkmış bir ülkenin galipler arasında mevki aldığını, şerefini, istiklâlini ve kapitülâsyonlar gibi gelişimine engel olan esaret zincirlerini kırdığını gösteren bir belge olmuştur. Lozan Antlaşması ile Millî Mücadele’de siyasî istikamet ve hedefleri belirleyen Misak-ı Millî hükümleri dönemin şartları içerisinde önemli bir ölçüde gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Lozan Antlaşması’ndan anlaşılan ve onun hatırlattığı düşünce ve nesne dikkat çekmiş, bu bağlamda Millî Mücadele ve Cumhuriyet’in ilk yıllarına da tanıklık etmiş olan “Cumhuriyet”, “Milliyet”, “Son Posta” gazetelerinde yapılan mütalâa ve değerlendirmelerin özü kendini şu şekilde belli etmiştir;
Lozan Antlaşması’nın destansı bir zaferin neticesi olduğu hatırlatılmış, bu antlaşma; “…şerefli sulhun hokkası Türk milletinin kalbi ve mürekkebi de Türk milletinin kanı olmuştur” şeklinde kıymetlendirilmiştir.
Lozan Antlaşması, Türk tarihinde eski devrin sonu, yeni devrin başlangıcı, Dumlupınar’ın tamamlayanı olmuş, aynı zamanda bu antlaşma ile bağımsızlık savaşında can verenlerin fedakârlıklarının boşa götürülmediği vurgulanmıştır.
Yeni Türk devleti için Lozan Antlaşması’nın hak ettiği değer; “Türkiye Cumhuriyet ve inkılâbının temellerinden biridir. Bugünkü kudretli Türkiye, Lozan üstüne kurulmuştur. Türk ordusu Dumlupınar’da kazandığı gibi Türk diplomasisi de Lozan’ı kazandı” şeklinde görülmüştür.
Gazete yazıları, herhangi bir konu ya da günlük olaylara ilişkin görüşlerin, düşüncelerin ayrıntılara inmeden anlatıldığı gazete veya dergilerde yayımlanan kısa yazılar olup, anlamlandırma çerçeveleri izlenebilen metinlerdir. Bu amaçla araştırmada, Lozan Antlaşması’nın anlam yükü, bu antlaşmanın oluşturduğu ortak alan ve muhtelif gazete yazıları incelenmiştir.
Araştırmada amacı, evrenin özellikleri hakkında bilgi toplamak, kişileri, durumları veya olayları tam ve doğru olarak betimlemek olan araştırma modeli esas alınmış, Cumhuriyet, Milliyet ve Son Posta gazeteleri yazılarından ve telif-tetkik eserlerden istifade edilmiştir.
The Lozan Treaty has been a document that shows that a country that has been defeated from the First World War has become among the victories and has broken the prison chains that prevent its honor, reign and capitulation from developing. The Lozan Treaty and the National Struggle defining the political status and objectives of the Misak-i National provisions have been implemented significantly within the conditions of the period.
The thoughts and objects of the Lozan Treaty have attracted attention, and the essence of the discussions and assessments made in the newspapers "Republic", "Nation", "The Last Post", which in this context has witnessed the first years of the National Struggle and the Republic, has expressed itself as follows:
The Lozan Treaty was reminded that it was the result of an astonishing victory, the treaty was valued in the form of "the heart and ink of the Turkish people, the honourful sulhun hockey, was the blood of the Turkish people."
The Lozan Treaty, the end of the ancient revolution in Turkish history, the beginning of the new revolution, was the complementary of Dumlupınar, and the treaty also emphasized that the sacrifices of those who died in the struggle for independence were not lost.
The value that the Lozan Treaty deserves for the new Turkish state is: "Turkey is one of the foundations of the Republic and the inkluence. Today’s powerful Turkey is founded on Lozan. As the Turkish army won in Dumlupınar, the Turkish diplomacy also won Lozan.
Newspapers are short texts published in newspapers or magazines in which opinions on any subject or daily events, opinions are described without detail, and the framework of understanding can be followed. For this purpose, the study examined the meaning burden of the Lozan Treaty, the common field that this Treaty constitutes, and various newspapers.
The purpose of the research is based on the research model that gathers information about the characteristics of the universe, describes the persons, situations or events in full and accurate manner, and is based on the writings of the Republic, Nationality and Last Post newspapers and the authorship-tested works.
