Abstract:

Purpose: Today, implants and implants are the most popular and researched applications. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the readability levels of Turkish websites that provide information about implant-on-proteses. The tool and method: The first 75 websites that appeared in the Google search engine were recorded using the keywords 'Implant-up protezles'. Turkish texts that don’t require membership that everyone can reach, informing the patient, were included in the study. There were 75 searches for each page. For statistical assessment, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and identifying statistics were used. p<0,05 was statistically considered meaningful. Results: 71 of the 75 sites included in the study were prepared by the public institution, which is a private clinic, 3 university hospitals, 1 oral and dental health center. The text on the reviewed websites has been found to have an average firearm readability index of 54,03 ± 9,56 and this corresponds to the average reading difficulties. The result: the readability of the texts related to the implant-on-protheses on the websites has been found to be medium difficult. Documents that inform the patient can be made more understandable by using the readability tools when prepared. Keywords: implants, internet, readability
