This research was done to determine the relationship of the democratic attitudes of managers perceived by teachers with the organizational socialization of teachers. Relational scan model was used in the research. The universe of research consists of 1070 teachers working in the province of Şırnak in the 2016-2017 educational year. The sample consists of 379 teachers selected by random sampling method from the universe. The study used personal information survey, "Democratic Attitude Scale" and "Organized Socialization Scale" for the purpose of collecting data. All statistical analysis of the research is SPSS for Windows 17. It is made with a package. The Ethical Board approval for the implementation of measurement tools (dated on 26 August 2016 and 2016/121) has been taken.The research results showed that school managers "mostly" have a democratic attitude. The perceptions of teachers and their managers about their democratic attitudes and behaviors have not shown significant differences according to the variable of gender, age and branch, while the study status and the type of school in charge have shown significant differences according to the variable. According to the teachers, the organizational socialization is very high. While teachers' perceptions of their organizational socialization do not show significant differences according to their professional backgrounds, educational conditions and branches, they have shown significant differences in the underdimensional "language-history" in terms of gender variation. It has been established that there is a positive relationship between teachers’ perceptions of their leaders’ democratic attitudes and their perceptions of their organizational socialization. The level of administrative democratic attitude perceived by teachers seems to be a meaningful contributor to the organizational socialization of teachers. It can be said that 26.5 percent of the variation regarding the organizational socialization of teachers is explained by the level of perception of administrative democratic attitude. School managers should maintain their high-level democratic attitudes. Teachers must maintain their organizational socialization conditions.
