Abstract:

The aim of this study is to support the TÜBİTAK 4004 Nature Education and Science Schools Support Program "My Language Science: I Learn by Applying Physics!" The name of the project and the project is to present the views of the participating high school students on the posters prepared by the participants with the basic and interpretative quality research method. The project was carried out for 5 days with 40 students from the Sciences, Anadolu and Imam Hatip high schools located within the Sinop province borders. In the framework of the project, the topics theoretically discussed in high schools and these topics were transmitted to the participants in an experiment. On the last day of the project events, they were asked to prepare and present two or three-dimensional posters using at least three of the topics they learned. Here the evaluations were made under 8 main titles, the topics selected in the prepared poster, the elements noted in the prepared poster, the cooperation in the prepared poster, the challenges faced, the contribution of working with the group, the suggestions for the development of the poster, the contribution of the project and the suggestions for the project. The performance of the project and the poster work prepared at the end of the project, in the form of group work, appears to create differences in the perspective of the participants’ integration of the subjects with each other.
