Abstract:

This study aims to reduce speech anxiety for students with speech anxiety and determine the impact of the theatre games on the development of speech skills. In this direction, children with speech anxiety were watched at the children's theatrical games, investigating whether there was a significant difference in the students' speech skills and speech anxiety levels. The research is structured using internal patterns from the research patterns of the karma method. The research was carried out with a semi-experimental pattern of non-equivalent control group. The study’s quality data is collected by focus group conversation and conversation method; quantitative data, speech skills anxiety scale and speech skills evaluation form. The quality data of the research was analyzed by content analysis, and quantitative data was analyzed by the 24th version of the SPSS Package Program, a statistical program for social sciences. In the study conducted with the semi-experimental pattern of the pre-test-on-test uneven control group and the pre-test-on-test points of the experiment group and the control group were studied, a significant difference was found in the benefit of the experiment group students. The focus group discussion resulted in 2 themes, 6 categories, 13 codes; the discussion resulted in 2 themes, 6 categories, 21 codes.
