Araştırmanın genel amacı, Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi son sınıf öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutumlarının belirlenmesidir. Tutumların belirlenmesinde Üstüner (2006) tarafından geliştirilen “Öğretmenlik Mesleğine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Kişisel bilgilerin tamamı, geliştirilen anket formlarıyla toplanmıştır. Son sınıf öğrencilerin tamamı araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir N=212. Öğrencilere ilişkin kişisel bilgiler ve diğer verilerin analizinde frekans (f) ve yüzde (%) ,ve bunların öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları ile cinsiyet, bölümü isteyerek seçme ve mezun olunca öğretmenlik yapmayı isteme durumları arasındaki ilişkilerin belirlenmesinde ilişkisiz örneklemler için T-testi ,öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlar ile mezun olunan lise türü ve öğrenim gördüğü program arasındaki ,ilişkilerin belirlenmesinde kullanılmıştır.Öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumları ile öğrenim gördükleri programlara ilişkin ikili değerleri test etmede ise ilişkisiz ölçümler için Mann Whitney U-testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları, sınıf öğretmenliği (SÖ),resim öğretmenliği (RÖ) ve sosyal bilgiler (SBÖ) öğretmenliği bölümlerindeki öğrencilerin öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutumlarının yüksek düzeyde olduğunu, fakat psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik bölümü (PDR) ile bilgisayar ve öğretim teknolojileri eğitimi bölümü öğrencilerinin öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutumlarının ise orta düzeyde olduğunu göstermiştir
