Abstract:

Technological developments in education are becoming more and more important. During this period of technological developments, the ministry’s work on the use of technology in educational environments continues, and the pandemic is getting even faster. With the work done, a platform called Education Information Network (EBA) has been developed by the Directorate General of Innovation and Education Technologies. The use of this in the classes as a pre-pandemic aid source, and in the period of the pandemic being an important part of education; it has been inevitable to become a virtual school environment that meets administrators, teachers and students. The teachers are very responsible for the effective use of these technologies in schools. It should not be forgotten that their teachers, using the EBA, a product of technology, played an important role in making the course more understandable and pleasant for students. The EBA and teachers, especially during the pandemic period, appear to have an important place in their communication, when students meet with their friends by creating a school environment in a virtual environment. Therefore, it is important to determine what the EBA views of science teachers are, the purposes of their use. The research is aimed at determining the views and uses of administrators and teachers of science about the EBA. The study was conducted in the 2019-2020 educational year with 63 administrators and 120 teachers of science from the high school in Bitlis and the districts where the smart plate is located. The model is used in the study. The data previously used, was gathered with the "Teachers' Education Information Network Use Purpose and Opinion Survey on EBA". Data is analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 statistical program. Imaginative findings are defined as numbers, percentages, average, standard deviation, minimum and maximum values. In the analysis it is considered meaningful that p<0,05. The findings showed significant differences by gender in the lower dimension of the "EBA Opinion" for administrators (p<0,05). In addition, in other variables, including teachers, there was no significant difference (p>0,05). Managers and teachers point out positive opinions according to the sub-dimensional average of the "EBA Opinion" and "EBA Use Purpose", but some deficiencies of the EBA (subtype deficiency, lesson and exam query content, content access problem, guidance, etc.) It has been shown that teachers use EBA as a more helpful source, live lessons in processing. After all, a number of suggestions were presented.
