Abstract:

The advent of Industry 4.0 has brought about significant transformations across various sectors, including Supply Chain Management (SCM). This paper aims to explore the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies (I4.0T) within the context of SCM 4.0. It provides an overview of the key concepts and principles of Industry 4.0 and examines their implications for supply chain operations. The paper highlights the prospective advantages of I4.0T in optimizing supply chain processes, enhancing efficiency, and enabling real-time visibility and decision-making. It discusses the role of technologies such as the internet of things (IoT), big data analytics (BDA), artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and blockchain in driving the digital transformation of supply chains.
