Etik İklim ve Örgütsel Vatandaşlık Davranışı Arasındaki İlişki: İş Doyumunun Aracı Rolü

Abstract:

Bu çalışmada etik iklim ile öğretmenlerin iş doyumu ve örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışları arasındaki ilişkinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada korelasyonel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Hatay’ın Kırıkhan ilçesinde bulunan ortaokullarda 2017–2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında görev yapmakta olan öğretmenler arasından küme örnekleme yöntemiyle yansız olarak seçilmiş 19 ortaokulda çalışan 187 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın       verilerinin toplanmasında “İlköğretim Okulları Etik İklim Ölçeği”, “İş Doyumu Ölçeği” ve “Örgütsel Vatandaşlık  Davranışı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Hiyerarşik çoklu regresyon analizi sonuçlarına göre algılanan etik iklim ve iş doyum düzeyinin örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışını anlamlı şekilde yordadığı görülmüştür. İş doyumu, etik iklimle örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı arasındaki ilişkide kısmi aracı rol           oynamaktadır. Araştırma sonuçlarına dayalı olarak,        öğretmenlerin işlerinden memnuniyet duymalarını ve kurumsal performansın artışını sağlamak için yöneticilerin okullarında etik bir iklim inşa etme çalışmaları faydalı görülmektedir.

Relationship Between Ethical Climate and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: The Medium Role of Business

Abstract:

This study aims to identify the relationship between the ethical climate and the employment satisfaction of teachers and the organizational citizenship behavior. Corelational patterns were used in the research. The sample of the research is made up of 187 teachers who work in 19 high schools in Hatay's Kırıkhan district from the teachers who are in charge in the 2017-2018 educational-learning year, unreflectively chosen by the sample method. The research data were collected using the "Ethical Climate Scale of Primary Schools", the "Employment Scale" and the "Organized Citizenship Behavior Scale". According to the hierarchical multiple regression analysis, the ethical climate and level of business satisfaction found to significantly influence the organizational citizenship behavior. Employment satisfaction plays a partial instrument in the relationship between the ethical climate and organizational citizenship behavior. Based on the results of the research, it is useful for teachers to build an ethical climate in their schools to ensure that teachers are satisfied with their work and improved corporate performance.

It was aimed to determine the relationship between ethical climate and teachers’ job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behaviour in this study. Survey-based correlational design was used in this research. The sample of this study consists of 187 teachers in 19 schools that were selected  randomly with cluster sampling method from the middle  schools in Kırıkhan district of Hatay during the 2017-2018 academic year. Data of this study were collected by        “Elementary School Ethical Climate Index”, “Job Satisfaction Scale” and “Organizational Citizenship Behaviour Scale”. According to the results of hierarchical multiple regression analysis, perceived ethical climate and job satisfaction level significantly predict organizational citizenship behaviour. Job satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between ethical climate and organizational citizenship behaviour. Based on the research results, it is helpful for administrators to build an ethical climate in their schools to enhance teachers’        satisfaction with job and provide the raise of corporate performance.
