İletişim, mesleki yeterlilik ve becerinin bir öğesi olarak etkili öğrenme sürecinin gerçekleşmesinin vazgeçilmez unsurlarından biridir. Şüphesiz ki bu süreçte en önemli rol öğretmenlere düşmektedir. Öğretmenin sınıf içierisinde sergileyeceği iletişim tarzı sadece sınıf yönetiminde değil, olumlu öğrenme çevresinin yaratılmasında, öğrencinin güdülenmesinde ve öğretmen ile öğrenci arasında değerlere dayalı bir ilişkinin geliştirilmesinde de etmendir. Her insanı kendine özgü düşünce ve beklentileri ile varlık gösteren bireyler olarak kabul eden değerlere dayalı yönetimin öğretmenler tarafından sınıf yönetiminde etkili bir şekilde kullanılması da öğrencilerin okul ve öğretmenler hakkındaki görüşleri üzerinde etkili olmaktadır. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın amacını lise öğrencilerinin öğretmenlerinin istenmeyen davranışlarına ilişkin algılarını belirlemek ve öğretmenlerin sergiledikleri davranışlar ve etkileri konusunda farkındalık oluşturulmasını sağlamak oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunun oluşturulmasında gönüllülük esas alınmış, toplamda 120 öğrenci çalışmaya katılmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri seçilen bir konu üzerinde grup mutabakatı ya da eylem planlaması yapmak amacıyla gerçekleştirilen yüz yüze görüşmelerden oluşan nominal grup analizi tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Çalışma bulguları öğretmenlerin istenmeyen davranışlarının öğretmenlik mesleği genel yeterliliklerine ilişkin olduğunu göstermekte ve bu davranışların öğrenci algısının değişiminde önemli rol oynadığını ortaya koymaktadır. Bu sebeple öğretmenlerin mesleki bilgi ve becerileri ile sergiledikleri tutum ve değerlerin iyileştirilmesine yönelik yapılacak çalışmaların öğrencilerin öğretmen algılarını olumlu yönde etkileyeceği düşünülmektedir
Communication is one of the essential elements of the realization of an effective learning process as an element of professional competence and skills. The most important role in this process is the teachers. The communication style that the teacher will show in the classroom is not only in the class management, but also in the creation of a positive learning environment, in the motivation of the student and in the development of a value-based relationship between the teacher and the student. The effective use of values of management by teachers in class management that recognizes each person as individuals with their own own thoughts and expectations is also influential on the students’ views about school and teachers. In this context, the study aims to identify high school students’ perceptions of their teachers’ unwanted behavior and to ensure that teachers become aware of their behavior and effects. The research method is used by the research methods. The study was based on volunteering, with a total of 120 students participating in the study. The data of the study was collected using the nominal group analysis technique consisting of face-to-face conversations conducted in order to make a group agreement or action planning on a chosen topic. The study findings show that the unwanted behaviors of teachers are related to the general qualifications of the teaching profession and that these behaviors play an important role in changing the student perception. Therefore, it is believed that the work aimed at improving the attitudes and values teachers with their professional knowledge and skills will have a positive impact on the teachers' perceptions.
This paper is derived from a study of high school students’ perceptions of their teachers’ misbehaviours. It is based on the accounts of 120 high school students, all chosen voluntarily. The data were collected with the “ Nominal Grup Analysis”. Results of the study suggests that teacher misbehaviours are related directly and indirectly with values, incompetence and communicaton behaviours of teachers.
