Abstract:

Unwanted student behavior is one of the problems that last from the past to the present day in schools. Recognition of this problem is important for schools. This research aims to reveal the unwanted student behavior that teachers encounter in their student years. The research method has been used. The study’s work group consists of 56 teachers working in different branches in the educational and educational year 2019-2020, in the center of the province of Şırnak, in the school stages of the faculty. The work group is created with the maximum variety sampling method. According to the research, the most unwanted behaviors that teachers encounter are: exposure to fellow violence, struggles between students, physical violence of teachers, and fellow pressure. The teachers who face unwanted behaviors are advised, they warn students, some teachers who don’t care about these behaviors are also determined to conduct official procedures for students. Teachers have been found to communicate with students and their families to control unwanted behaviors, be advised and warned, apply to formal procedures and show reactive behaviors. According to the study, teachers generally have gained professional experience from these experiences.
