Abstract:

Education Information Network (EBA) is an online social education platform developed by the Ministry of Education’s General Directorate for Innovation and Education Technologies, which students and teachers can enjoy for free. This platform houses different kinds of information sources, such as text, picture, audio and video, with various educational content, such as courses, content, competitions, applications, various educational files, e-course opportunities. The basic function is to ensure that teachers and students are interacting using technology. The EBA is widely used by primary and secondary school students; it reflects the literature in which this system is used by 10 million primary and secondary school students in the teaching process. The study also aims to examine the attitudes of teachers to use the EBA in terms of age, gender, educational status and the variations of the year of service. In the study, the scan model of the quantum research method was used. The data was collected through the survey from teachers from different branches who have been selected by the appropriate sampling method and who work in the state schools in the center of Tokat province. 54 of the teachers who participated in the study were women and 116 were men. The sex ratio is 34% to 66%. The EBA Attitude Scale was used to obtain the data of the study. In the analysis of the data, the Ki-Care technique was used. In the study, the attitudes of teachers towards the EBA were evaluated in terms of gender, age, educational status, professional experience. The study concluded that the teachers’ attitudes of the Education Information Network were medium and positive; that there was no significant difference in the EBA attitudes according to age, gender, educational status and service year variations.
