Abstract:

Bu çalışma, ilköğretim öğretmenlerinin sınıf içerisindeki istenmeyen davranışlara karşı uyguladıkları stratejileri belirlemek ve bazı değişkenlere karşı değerlendirmek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma okul surveyi (tarama) tipi betimsel bir çalışmadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan “İstenmeyen Davranışlara Karşı Stratejiler Anketi” uzman görüşleri de alınarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2010-2011 eğitim öğretim yılında Rize ili, Çayeli ilçesindeki ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan öğretmenler oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 13.0 programı kullanılarak frekans analizi ve iki değişken için kay-kare testi istatistiksel işlemi yapılmıştır. Bu analize göre, sınıf içerisinde istenmeyen öğrenci davranışlarına karşı öğretmenlerin büyük çoğunluğunun göz teması kurma, soruna yönelik sorular sorma, yanına yaklaşma, dokunma, doğru davranışı gösterme stratejilerini kullandıkları belirlenmiştir. Abstract:

This study aimed at determining primary school teachers’ strategies that they applied against undesired behavior in classroom and evaluating them against some variables. The research is a study of descriptive school survey. As a data collection tool “Strategies Against Undesired Behaviors Survey” which was prepared by the researcher by taking the expert views was used. The sample group of the research consists of primary school teachers who worked Çayeli district, Rize province in 2010-2011 academic year. In data analysis, frequency analyses in SPSS 13.0 program and chi square statistical operation for two variables were used. According to this analysis, it was determined that against the undesired student behaviors in classroom, most of the teachers used eye contact, asking questions aimed at problem, coming closer, touching, showing the correct behavior strategies.
