So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Abstract:

This study aims to determine the interest levels of high school students in science-technology-engineering and mathematics (FeTeMM) professions. Research is a type of scanning model that is within the scan of the quantum research method. The sample of the study consists of 758 students who continue their studies at 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels in 10 schools located in the Elazığ province center, district and villages. In the study, Kier, Blanchard, Osborne and Albert (2013) developed the scale "Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Career Interest Survey (STEM-CIS)" used a Turkish-adjusted state. The work of adaptation of the scale was carried out by Koyunlu-Sunly, Dökme and Famous (2016) and was named "FeTeMM's Care for Careers". The scale is made up of 4 sub-dimensions (the main professions, the technology professions, the engineering professions and the mathematical professions) of 40 items in 5 likers. The average, mode, median, distinction and pressure values, which are the normal indicators of variables, have been studied. The results of the evaluation of the values were determined that the data obtained showed normal distribution, and on this basis the independent sampling test, variance analysis and Tukey test were used. The study found that students who participated in the study had significant differences in their interest levels for the FeTeMM professions, depending on gender, where they live, the educational conditions of the parents and the income conditions of the parents. The lower dimensions of the interest scale for the FeTeMM professions are also compared for each variable. In the lower dimensions, there is also a significant difference in interest levels to the FeTeMM professions according to the variables. According to the results obtained at the end of the study, there were recommendations.

Abstract:

This study was aimed to determine the level of interest of a sample of fifth-and eighth-graders students in STEM careers on the basis of gender, where they lived, grade levels, their parents’ educational status and levels of income. The research is of the type of survey model which is within the scope of quantitative research method. The data were conducted with 758 fifth-and eighth-graders students’. The sample consists of ten middle schools in Elazıg. The data were collected through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Career Interest Survey (STEM-CIS). STEM-CIS was developed by Kier, Blanchard, Osborne and Albert (2014) and adapted to Turkish by Koyunlu Unlu, Dokme and Unlu (2016). The scale is made up of 4 sub-scales, that is, the scale is a 5-likert type scale consisting of four sub-scales, that is, “science career” “technology career”, “engineering career” and “mathematics career” and 40 items. Mean, mode, median, skewness and kurtosis values of variables were examined. In the analysis of the data, Independent Samples t Test, ANOVA tests and Tukey test were used. According to research findings, it was determined that fifth-and eighth-graders students had a significant difference according to gender, where they lived, grade levels, their parents’ educational status and the levels of income of the family. At the end of the study, suggestions were made according to the findings.
