Abstract:

During adolescence relations of friendship and romantic relationships are important issues of this period. In this article, in the period of adolescence the relationship of friendship and romantic relationships were discussed. Friendships and romantic relationships as related to theory of Sullivan and theory of Erikson were mentioned and compared. Also the dialectical theory of Rawlins were cited and his subjects about friendships were highlighted. Friendship relations with the years that were stressed include developmental process. Also firstly, same-sex friendships with people was established and after opposite-sex friendships were established, against this situation of adolescent was allowed the closest relationship with oppositesex in to the future were highlighted., The various positive and negative effects of friendships and romantic relationships on adolescents has been discussed, the effects of parental attitudes and cultural differences of the friendships and romantic relationships has been argued out. On this account peer and romantic relationships in different ways in every culture that has been specified. As a conclusion technological development effected on friendships and the basic components of friendships were honesty and trust.
