Kitle fonlaması, yatırım ihtiyacı olan bir projeyi veya işi finanse edebilmek amacıyla girişimcilerin büyük insan gruplarından internet tabanlı platformlar vasıtasıyla fon toplamasını ifade eden bir terimdir. Temel mantığı çok daha öncesine dayanmakla birlikte bugünkü manada kitle fonlaması sisteminin temeli 2008’li yıllara dayanmaktadır. O günden bugüne popülaritesi sürekli artmış ve güncelliğini halen korumaktadır. Kitle fonlaması konvansiyonel finans sistemleri açısından olduğu kadar İslami finansal sistemler açısından da oldukça önemlidir. Kitle fonlaması sistemi İslami yasak ve kurallara uyulması halinde İslami sisteme uyarlanabilir. Bu açıdan değerlendirildiğinde İslami finansal sistemler içerisinde kitle fonlamasına dayalı sistem ve uygulamaların kurulması İslam ülkelerinin ekonomik büyüme ve kalkınma süreçlerine katkıda bulunacaktır. Bu çalışmada İslam’ın en temel emirlerinden birisi olan, İslam ekonomi ve finans sisteminin temelinde yer alan zekât kurumunun kitle fonlaması yöntemi kullanılarak daha etkin ve verimli şekilde işletilmesine yönelik bir model önerilmiştir. Modelin özellikle İslam ülkelerinin ekonomik büyüme ve kalkınma süreçlerine katkıda bulunacağı düşünülmektedir.
Mass funding is a term that means that entrepreneurs collect funds from large groups of people through internet-based platforms in order to finance a project or business that needs investment. Although the basic logic is based on a long time earlier, the foundation of today's manada mass funding system is based on the years of 2008. Since then, its popularity has increased continuously and continues to preserve its current. The mass funding is very important in terms of the conventional financial systems as well as in terms of the Islamic financial systems. The mass funding system can be adjusted to the Islamic system if it is prohibited and followed by the rules. In this regard, the establishment of systems and practices based on mass funding within Islamic financial systems will contribute to the economic growth and development processes of the Islamic countries. In this study, one of the most basic commandments of Islam, a model is proposed to be operated more effectively and efficiently by using the mass funding method of the Zakat institution, which is the basis of the Islamic economy and financial system.
