Enflasyon tahmini ülkeler için büyük bir önem arz etmekte, yatırımlar bu verilere göre yapılmaktadır. Gelişmekte olan ülkeler açısından enflasyon oranının düşük seyretmesi önemli hedeflerden birisidir. Bu nedenle geçmiş verilere bakarak geleceğe yönelik doğru tahminlerde bulunulması önemlidir. Kısa dönemli tahmin çalışmalarındauygun yöntemlerden birisi zaman serileridir. Bu çalışmada Box-Jenkins ve Yapay Sinir Ağları olarak bilinen yöntemlerle enflasyon verisine ait zaman serisi analizi kullanılmış ve sonuçlar karşılaştırmalı olarak sunulmuştur.
