Abstract:

This research includes the results of the "Our Sea Mediterranean" project carried out within the TÜBİTAK 4004 Natural Education and Science Schools. In the framework of the project, events were carried out on the reflection of the sea and the sea to our lives, the need for the protection of the seas and the marine animals. During the course of the project, students have been taught music, painting, nature, geography, literature and science, in addition to scientific studies on the Mediterranean and other seas. The sample of the study consists of 100 students participating in the project.  The class levels of students are in the form of 6th, 7th and 8th classes. For the purpose of measuring the impact of the project on students, the researchers created the pre-event assessment form and the success test were used. Students have also studied the posts they wrote after the project, the pictures they made. It has been observed that the visualization of interactive practices and knowledge in the project has a positive impact on students, increasing their research and learning desires.
