Abstract:

The main purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between entrepreneurial direction and business performance by conducting an empirical literature study. This aim was studied by dividing the impact of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance into financial and non-financial dimensions. The empirical studies of entrepreneurship and business performance chosen from literature have been analyzed in accordance with the purpose of this study. The study has shown that the entrepreneurial orientation is not consistent and clear in the impact of on financial and non-financial performance. However, it is understood from the literature that the entrepreneurial orientation contributes directly or indirectly to the performance of the business. In addition to this conclusion, empirical studies have emphasized that the positive effects of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance will not appear in the short term, and that they will appear in the medium and long term.
