The effects of Global warming have been increasing in the world and in Turkey for 40 years and has caused the biogeographical areas of living things to gradually expand. It has been determined that while some pests expand their ecological areas, some invasive pests are moved to new ecological areas suitable for them. More than 25 harmful species have been detected in the agricultural areas of the Eastern Mediterranean Region in the last 40 years, and some of them have not even made their presence felt, while species such as Parabemisia myricae, Tuta absoluta, Drosophila suzukii have caused epidemics. These invasive species have caused economically important losses by epidemic when there are no natural enemies pressure. Some species have been controlled by biological control and other plant protection applications. Due to uncontrolled human activities in agricultural areas, insufficient quarantine measures, and global climate change, pest, diseases and weeds, which live in different geographical areas, may move to new regions and change from potential pest to main pest in new regions. The national and International Quarantine Institutions should work in a coordinated manner to provide permanent solution for the prevention and deceleration of the spread of these invasive species.
