The Marmara region is a region where many fruit species can be grown with its ecological characteristics, and Bilecik province is located in the east. Bilecik province is at the forefront with its favourable structure in fruit and vegetable cultivation, thanks to the ecosystems created by the altitude differences. 29% of the land area of Bilecik is agricultural land, and 11% of the agricultural area is fruit area. When the cultivated species are examined, walnut, hazelnut, peach, olive, pomegranate, grape, fig, quince, and many other species can be grown due to the suitability of ecological conditions. According to the data of 2020, 71.034 tons of fruit are produced in an area of approximately 141 thousand decares. When the production amount data is examined in the same year, the ranking continues in the form of peach, cherry, quince, and grape. Approximately 63% of the fruit production of Bilecik province is realized in Osmaneli district. In this study, it is aimed to examine the current situation of the fruit growing potential of Bilecik province.
