Çocuğun duygu, düşünce ve hayal dünyasını geliştirmek amacıyla çocuk kitapları ve çocuk dergilerinden yararlanılmaktadır. Çocuk dergileri, çocukların gelişim süreçlerini desteklemek amacıyla ilgi ve ihtiyaçlarına yönelik yazılı ve görsel metinlerin yer aldığı süreli yayınlardır. Çocuklara hitap eden dergilerin biçimsel ve içerik unsurlarının çocuğa görelik ilkesi kapsamında olması gerekir. Bu çalışmada “Araştırmacı Çocuk”, “Bilge Çocuk”, “Bilim Çocuk”, “Kafa Çocuk ve Bilim” ve “Mavi Kırlangıç” dergilerinin boyut, kâğıt, sayfa düzeni, yazı düzeni, resimler ve kapaktan oluşan dış yapı unsurları ile bölümler, metin, etkinlik, tema, dil ve üsluptan oluşan iç yapı unsurları doküman incelemesi yöntemiyle ele alınmıştır.
Children's books and magazines are used to develop the world of children's emotions, thoughts and fantasies. Children’s magazines are periodic publications with written and visual texts aimed at children’s interests and needs to support their development processes. The formal and content elements of the magazines addressing children should be within the framework of the principle of relativity to the child. In this study, the "Researching Child", "Science Child", "Science Child", "Head Child and Science" and "Blue Curtain" magazines; size, paper, page layout, writing layout, images and external structural elements consisting of cover, and the internal structural elements consisting of sections, text, activity, theme, language and style were addressed by the method of document study.
