Bu çalışmada; 2005-2019 yılları arasında Türkiye’nin 15 yılık turizm performansının seçilmiş verilerle analizi amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda; turizm gideri, Türkiye'de ikamet eden yurt dışını ziyaret eden ziyaretçi sayısı, kişi başı ortalama harcama, turizm geliri, ziyaretçi sayısı, tesise geliş sayısı ve geceleme sayısı parametreleri dikkate alınmıştır. Araştırmada Türkiye’nin seçilmiş verilerle turizm performansı CRITIC ve MABAC Yöntemleri ile analiz edilmiştir. CRITIC analizi sonucunda; Türkiye’nin turizm performansı üzerinde etkisi en fazla olan kriterin Türkiye’de ikamet eden ve yurt dışını ziyaret eden ziyaretçi sayısı göstergesi olduğu, en az olan turizm göstergesininse ziyaretçi sayısı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. MABAC analizi sonucunda ise; 15 yıllık zaman periyodunda, Türkiye’nin turizm performansının en başarılı olduğu yıl 2019 yılı iken, en başarısız olduğu yıl 2016 yılı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. 2016 yılında Türkiye’nin turizm performansında, sınır komşuları ile yaşanan problemler ve bazı iç karışıklıklar nedeni ile bir önceki yıla göre yaklaşık %30’luk bir daralma yaşanmıştır. 2019 yılı ise Dünyada ve Türkiye’de turizm endüstrisinin rekor yılı olarak kayıtlara geçmiştir.
This study aims to analyze Turkey’s 15-year tourism performance between 2005 and 2019 with selected data. In this context; tourist expenditure, the number of visitors visiting abroad residing in Turkey, the average per person expenditure, tourist income, the number of visitors, the number of arrivals to the facility and the number of nighttime parameters have been taken into account. In the study, Turkey’s selected data analyzed tourism performance with CRITIC and MABAC methods. According to the CRITIC analysis, the criterion that has the greatest impact on the tourism performance of Turkey is the indicator of the number of visitors residing in Turkey and visiting abroad, and the lowest indicator of tourism is the number of visitors. According to MABAC analysis, in the 15 year time period, the year in which Turkey’s tourism performance was the most successful was 2019 and the year in which it was the most failed was 2016. In 2016, Turkey’s tourism performance was reduced by about 30% compared to the previous year due to problems with border neighbors and some internal confusion. 2019 was the record year of tourism industry in the world and in Turkey.
