Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the attitudes of students studying at the University of Amasya and studying within the framework of remote education with the intentions to use the simultaneous virtual classroom environments and the attitudes to distance education. In this direction, to learn the personal information of the students, 8 items "Personal Information Form" and 21 items "Remote Education Attitude Scale" and 24 items "Equivalent Virtual Class Acceptance Scale" were used. The participants of the study have formed students of distance education who are educated within the framework of the University of Amasya Distance Education and Research Directorate. 183 women and 103 men, a total of 286 students participated in the study. The study used the visual scan method and the data collected was analyzed by performing the t test and anova test with the statistical package program. According to the findings of the study, the distance learning students have found that their intentions to use simultaneous virtual class environments and their attitudes to distance learning are at an average high level. However, there was no statistically significant difference between gender, age, type of high school graduated and the level of admission to distance education and the level of attitude. In addition, according to the program results in which students are registered when considering the simultaneous virtual class use levels, the health pre-graduate program has come to the conclusion that the student’s use intentions levels are significantly higher than others. It is recommended to take the necessary measures to determine what the problems occur during online courses.
