In this study, it is aimed to adapt the “Individual-Parent Career Goal Discrepancies Scale” (Sawitri et al., 2020) into Turkish and to examine it according to demographic variables. The study group of the research consists of 684 university students (age M=21.73, SD=4.319) studying at 20 different universities. Data were collected online via personal information form and scale form. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was performed with study group 1 from the data obtained. According to the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) performed to examine the structural validity, the model was found to be statistically significant model and the standardized factor scores of the items were found to be statistically significant and positive. Cronbach's Alpha values showed that the scale was good and perfectly reliable, and the relationships between the scale and its sub-dimensions were positive and significant. The research results show that the scale, which consists of 15 items and three sub-factors, is a valid and reliable measurement tool that evaluates the individual-parent career goal discrepancies of university students, together with the dimensions of ability, choice, and enthusiasm. In addition, statistically significant differences were found in the analyzes made with variables such as gender and department preference status.
