Çok katmanlı bir yapıya sahip olan edebi metin, çeşitli kuramsal okumalara göre birbirinden farklı anlamlar ortaya koyabilir. Sanatçının istek, eğilim ve becerileri, sanata yaklaşımı, bakış açısı, yaşadığı dönemdeki zihniyet unsurları bu tür okumalara imkân sağlayan başat ögeler olarak öne çıkar. İnsana özgü gerçekliklerin kurmaca yoluyla dönüştürülüp yorumlanması üzerine inşa edilen edebi eser, tüm bu ögeleri ortak bir paydada buluşturan fiktif bir yapı özelliği gösterir. Bu fiktif yapının özüne ulaşmayı sağlayan önemli ögelerden biri de “detay”dır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, özellikle postmodern eserlerdeki yoğunluktan sıyrılarak yazarın vermek istediği “öz”e ulaşmada “detay”ın rolünü irdelemek ve Kuşlar Yasına Gider romanındaki detay unsurlarını ortaya koymaktır.
Literary text, which has a multi-layered structure, can present different meanings according to various theoretical readings. The artist's desires, tendencies and skills, the approach to the art, the perspective, the mentality elements in the period in which he lives are highlighted as the main objects that enable such readings. The literary work, built on the transformation and interpretation of human-specific realities through the creation, shows a fictional structure that brings together all these objects in a common part. One of the important elements that make it possible to reach the essence of this fictional structure is the "detal". The purpose of this study is to identify the role of "detay" in achieving the "self" the author wants to give, especially by separating from the intensity of postmodern works, and to reveal the detailed elements in the novel The Birds Go.
Literary text, with a multi-layer structure, may reveal distinctive meanings in compliance with various theoretical readings. Artist’s desires, tendencies and skills, his approach to art, his point of view, the mentality elements of the era in which he lives come to the forefront as dominant factors enabling these kinds of readings. The literary text, constructed upon realities peculiar to human being are changed and rendered through fiction, presents a imaginary characteristic that meets all these elements on common ground. One of the significant elements that ensures reaching the essence of this imaginary structure is detail. The objective of this paper is to study the role of detail so as to reach the essence the writer aims to present especially getting out of the density of postmodern works and put forward the elements of detail in Kuşlar Yasına Gider.
