The aim of this study is to adapt the Career Exploration Scale (CES) to Turkish and to examine its psychometric properties for grades 4-7. The structure validity, measurement invariance, concurrent scale validity and reliability of the CES were examined with the data collected from 816 students (397 girls, 419 boys) who constitute the first sample of the study. Test-retest reliability of CES was analyzed with the data collected from 148 students (89 girls, 59 boys), who constituted the second sample of the study. As a result of the confirmatory factor analysis made for the construct validity, it was determined that the CES consisted of a single factor structure parallel to the original factor structure. Findings regarding measurement invariance show that CES provides measurement invariance according to gender. Within the scope of concurrent scale validity, a positive significant relationship was found between CES and the knowledge and curiosity sub-dimensions of the Childhood Career Development Scale. Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of CES was found to be .83 and it was seen that item-total correlation values ranged from .44 to .64. The test-retest reliability coefficient for CES, which was applied two weeks apart, was determined as .87. As a result, CES is a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to evaluate the career exploration behaviors of 4th - 7th grade students.
