The class concept is an important analytical tool that helps to understand social issues and social change. First of all 19. The class, which was theoretized by Karl Marx while analyzing economic-political issues in the century, was later among the important concepts of sociology. In class theory, class categorically indicates economic capital. In this theory, the basic criterion that determines class is the income level and the inequal difference between the economic capital levels that divide society into classes. Another important name of classical sociology is Max Weber. When he solved the capitalist societies of the century, he again took advantage of the class concept. Max Weber argued that economic capital is important for the concepts of "class status" and "class", but the social dimension of the class also plays a role in the "status status" determiners, such as the lifestyle and formal education. Another class theorist, French sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, explains the social class, capital, field and habitus. These concepts are components that do not separate from each other and that one builds or builds the other. In this context, this study aims to explain and compare the class theories of Pierre Bourdieu as a sociologist, which is fed by these two sociological traditions by the two names of classical sociology, Karl Marx and Max Weber.
