So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Popüler Roman ve Türk Halk Hikâyeciliğinde Ortak Unsurlar
2014

Abstract:

Common Constituents In Popular Novel and Turkish Storytelling
2014

Abstract:

Popular Novel and Folk Storytelling as categories do not have clear common definitions have been widely uttered by critics. When they are read comparatively, on the other hand, seem to hold many similarities in terms of both the reasons of their occurrences and structures. Both genres are results of the shifts in the culture. Popular novel has occurred due to the industrialization in developed countries whereas the Turkish folk storytelling has occurred resulting from the shift from nomadic culture to settled life. These cultural changes have created two groups of people: a) the ones that are in search of something b) the ones who negotiate between the old and the new culture. These groups have had a big impact on the course of both the popular novel and the Turkish folk storytelling. This very fact has created an active exchange between the readers and the authors of both genres. The demands of the readers, for instance, have led both genres to attain formulated structures. This can be seen in terms of their plots, characters, narrator, the style of narrative and type of readers they have had over the course of both genres’ lives. With a specific focus on the periods and geographies both have appeared this paper will explore in what ways popular novel and Turkish folk storytelling share commonalities in terms of their function in the social life.
