In today's modern social structure, communication and public relations are of great importance from the point of view of non-governmental organizations. In particular, it is possible for non-governmental organizations to achieve common goals and objectives, to maintain their existing status, to create public opinion depending on experienced problems and to provide public support, but only through communication and public relations. Because of the outbreak of the Corona virus (Covid-19), communication and public relations in non-governmental organizations became even more important when the World Health Organization (who) declared a pandemic around the world. In this way, non-governmental organizations are trying to carry out communication and public relations activities with their target groups more efficiently and without interruption through online environments. From this in mind, the subject of this study has been determined as communication and public relations in non-governmental organizations during the pandemic period. The research aims to determine the role played by non-governmental organizations operating in the field of health in the Covid-19 outbreak. In this qualitative study, the concept of civil society has been discussed in detail and examined in terms of communication and public relations with the Turkish Medical Association's official Twitter account through content analysis method.
