The landscape is shaped over time by those practices that society makes on the space. It is for some authors the first expression of cultural heritage for a community, since it protects components, values and meanings. It is both expression and appropriation of a community and it can be represented through various manifestations, such as the writings for which it serves as inspiration. The letters of couplets are a means for the study of the landscape that allows revealing the historicity that they protect. The aim of this article is to strengthen the sound landscape approach in the study of the spatiality of General Daniel Cerri, in the district of Bahía Blanca, in the southwest of Buenos Aires. The methodology used corresponds to the analysis of discourse and representations. The case presented makes it possible to contribute to the study of the landscape from an approach that prioritizes the sensations and values that it generates for representation by the local actors themselves in the line of qualitative study. Likewise, considering the landscape as the maximum exponent of cultural heritage opens the possibility of discussion so that the landscape is a holistic methodological approach and not just another conceptual category.
