This research aimed to determine the relationship between the education received by teacher candidates studying in the Department of Computer and Instructional Technologies Teaching, the qualification of IT leadership, and 21st-century skills. In the study, a quantitative research method was adopted and the scanning method was used. The study group of this research consists of 86 teacher candidates who continue their education and training at Necmettin Erbakan University Ahmet Keleşoğlu Education Faculty and Niğde Ömer Halis Demir University Education Faculty during the fall semester of 2019-2020 academic year. To collect the data, the demographic information form developed by the researchers, “IT Leadership Scale” developed by Ulutaş (2015) to uncover IT leadership features, and “Multidimensional 21st Century Skills Scale” developed by Çevik and Şentürk (2019) to uncover 21st-century skills were used in the study. T-test and ANOVA were used to analyze the data for unrelated samples. According to the data obtained as a result of the research, it was identified that there was no significant relationship between the education received by the students studying in the CET department and the qualification of informatics leadership and 21st-century skills.
