Nowadays constructivism is one of the important along the theories of learning, it can be seen in many educational fields and in studying foreign languages as well. With the constructivist approach, the significations of many concepts of education from different steps such as the role of the teacher, educational environment, class activities, assessment and evaluation progress has been changed. During the process of foreign language education, textbooks are one of the most important education materials and according to the cognitive approach textbooks must be sufficient about topics such as organizing the target group’s preliminary information while actuating group’s metacognitive skills and referring the target group to a mental rebuilding process. In this research, “Yedi İklim Türkçe” Turkish education set which was prepared to be used for teaching Turkish as a foreign language in the Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Cultural Centers and Turcology departments abroad was examined in the framework of constructivist evaluation criteria and the influence of constructivist approach theory on the set. In the research, document examination technique has been used. The books were assessed by the constructivism method and weaknesses were pointed out with recommendations
